Better, Faster, Cheaper
The scaling paradox
Better, faster, and cheaper is not always the answer to scaling.
In fact, many attempts at it hurt the quality of service to the people that we seek to serve (and I’ve seen successful attempts too) but, where do we draw the line?
Service, experience, and quality to the people we seek to serve — That’s where we draw the line.
If better, faster, and cheaper downplays the experience they came for, if it makes the people we serve feel less served and diminishes the quality they hoped to get, it might be a good idea to think twice.
