Debates and Mistakes

One definitely doesn’t work

There might be a relationship here. Let’s see.

We make debates because we want to avoid mistakes. The only thing is, we don’t learn much from debates and they take time.

What if it turns out this way? What might happen if I switch careers? What if nobody buys it? What if I become more popular than I can handle? What if there’s a rush and I can’t meet the demand? What happens if I make a mistake?

Great questions! But we don’t learn so much from them. We don’t learn because we haven’t experienced them. It’s okay to plan (and you should), the thing though is, there is an infinite number of possible outcomes you definitely cannot predict.

Here’s the thing about mistakes, we make them when we try something, when we take a step, and yes, we learn from them.

Unlike debates, mistakes can be a part of our journey and we can finally figure something out.

We can learn what might work and see things in a way we wouldn’t have if we didn’t try. We can give up not because we are tired but because we found something else on the way… because the mistake made some sense.

Plan! Make a debate and ask as many questions but don't stall.

Try something, it’s okay to make a mistake.
