In addition to the natural five

A sense of dissatisfaction

The discomfort that comes from knowing you can do more and be more and have more and care more and create more and show up more.

A sense of satisfaction

The comfort that comes with being present and being happy with how far you've come and what you have going on right now.
You can be satisfied and safely dissatisfied. Pursue without pressure (on yourself)

A sense of curiosity

The wanting to know, to learn, to discover, to explore, to find better ways of doing things, to find new ways to show up, to collaborate, to solve problems.
What might this turn into? What might be possible? What if we…?

A sense of focus

The knowledge that attention is limited and so is time and most resources. And learning to channel that to activities that are important to the goals you’ve set. Not because you can’t do more but because you want to go deeper into the things that matter… rather than wide. Until it’s okay to go wide.

A sense of responsibility

The understanding is that to make progress or learn or make something better, you have to own it. Own the outcomes, the success, the mistakes.
What could I have done better? How do I manage this? What did I learn? What should I do more? or less? What do I do now? I’m moving this forward.

Your natural senses of sight, touch, taste, smell, and hearing don’t necessarily help you succeed.

They work so you can have 5 more.
