I’ll do it tomorrow…

You say that often, don’t you?

Why do you say that you’ll do it tomorrow? And how important is this thing you keep pushing forward to you? Because if it’s tied to what you want out of life and the change you seek to make, then you really want to stop pushing it further.

Here’s where you need to start.
Ask yourself, why can’t I do it now?

You might come up with a list of reasons and they are likely going to be something you don't have — time, money, knowledge, energy, connections, courage, etc.

Really get a sheet of paper and make a list.

For each one of these reasons, provide a solution.
How much time do you need? Maybe don't do as much so you don't need so much time.
How much money do you need? Maybe start smaller or seek collaboration.
How much courage do you need? Maybe join a community of people going in the same direction and find accountability.

There’s always a smaller way to start — something to do, and it might not be much but it serves a purpose and it’s better than “starting tomorrow” and tomorrow and tomorrow again.

If we can work urgently and tirelessly for our bosses at work, we should respect ourselves enough to keep to our own goals.
