If you’ve never tried to do something about climate change and you’re wondering how you might start to help, don’t worry, it’s not too late.

Here are a few places to start

  1. Learn more. It’s important that you’re informed on the state of things and areas where you have opportunities to make the most impact. Try out The Carbon Almanac. The most comprehensive and fun library of everything about climate change.
You can also subscribe to The daily difference — a newsletter that informs you and help you take action daily
  2. Know your carbon footprint — the amount of carbon you release into the atmosphere through your daily activities — your energy source, the food you eat, your choice of transportation, your choice of fashion, and on and on…
  3. Start to switch from carbon-positive activities or the way you go about them to renewable or zero-carbon options. Like taking public transport to reduce the carbon emission from vehicles, shopping for your friends and neighbors so they don't have to hit the road, or using green energy at home
You can also offset carbon-positive activities by engaging in carbon-negative ones like planting trees using ecosia
