What counts and what doesn’t?

How to spend time on the right things only

It starts with the question, “what do I want?”

Because what you want out of life or your career, determines what goes into your pursuit.

It’s quite interesting that most people either do not know what they want or have vague ideas about it.

Your journey accelerates with a level of clarity.
Without clarity, your efforts cannot be targeted and you’d do just about anything that comes your way.

Then you might burn out
Then you might feel lost
Then you might get FOMO (fear of missing out)

There are no right or wrong activities, there are only ones that help you get what you want.

If the fear of moving in the wrong direction stops you from choosing a path, you’re already on the wrong path.

It’s okay to get things wrong and change direction based on new learnings.

Start by asking, “what do I want?”

Then you can say ‘no’ without FOMO.
Then, you can double down on what counts.
Then you can invest time rather than simply spending it.
