Whose story are you telling?

Because we tell stories with our lives

You don’t want to read your story and struggle to find yourself in it.

Every day, we paint pictures and write our own history, notable or not.
The dynamics of how that happens is important to note.

Some stories will be told in the shadow of others if we don’t wield the pen.

Wielding the pen is owning your life, the outcomes, the people in it, the choices you make, your responses to situations, the events you participate in…

There’s an everyday struggle to take the pen from you.
The noise, the internet, opinions.
You must always ask…why? where’s this coming from? what do I want? what will I do?

And word by word, sentence by sentence, people by people, event by event, decision by decision, failure by failure, success by success, page by page, stride by stride, we write our story…

Right now, who wields the pen?

…and what are they writing?
